No. The head is just the amplifier, with no speakers. You have to have a cab to hear it. And with that head you have to have a stereo cab or you'll blow the head.

Strap or bag to carry hard shell guitar case more easily?
Okay, so I have a hard shell guitar case, an Epiphone SG one, and it is a bit heavy to carry by hand. I was wondering if there are any straps, slings, or bags for carrying it more easily, or if I could make something for it? I can sew =^-^=. I do need to use a hard case, gig bags and such are not good enough. So, any help or ideas?
my friend has an sg with a soft gig case.
it was produced by epiphone so they do make them.

do you need a electric guitar amp for the guitar to sound good?
electric guitar, do you NEED an amp for it to sound good?
im learning guitar and i'm not planning on playing infront of crowds or anything but to get the electric sound do you need an amp?
It all depends on what kind of guitar you have.
If you play your standard non-electric acoustic guitar, you don't need an amp if you are trying to project your sound to a small area (yourself or a small crowd in a small room)
If you play your standard electric acoustic guitar, it doesn't require an amp BUT you can plug that baby into an amp and it can project the sound for a small crown or a large audience depending on how large your amp is.
If you play an electric guitar, it is playable without an amp but electric guitars are made to be plugged into amps. If your electric guitar is plugged into an amp, you can play around with the settings on the amp. You can play sweet blues lix on with a clean setting or you can rock out on a distortion setting. There are a whole bunch of foot pedals you can buy and play around with too if you have an amp.
Basically, yes, its nice to have an amp if you have any sort of electric guitar and you want it to sound good.

Josh Hancock's family lawsuit happy?
How unbelieveable is it this? Cardinals relief pitcher Josh Hancock drank in a restaurant until he was drunk. The manager offered to get him a cab and he refused. He gets in his SUV and leaves for another bar. Meanwhile, another driver is cut off and hits the median in the left lane of an interstate and his car stalls. A tow truck stops to help. The tow truck's emergency lights are on as he is trying to help the stranded motorist. Hancock is driving down the highway drunk and on his cell phone, hits the tow truck and dies. Now his family is suing the restaurant, the towing company, AND the driver of the car that was stuck on the highway at 12:30 at night. What the hell???? How in the hell is the towing company or this poor guy stuck on the side of the road negligant in any way? Why would any attorney even take this case?
Not to mention the fact that the guy had enough money to hire someone to drive him where ever he wanted to go!
You are not the only one who is furious about the lawsuit. Josh Hancock's father is just trying to get money. Last thing I remember, Josh was 29 freakin' years old. That means he is responsible for his own actions, and his actions were irresponsible on HIS part, not anyone else.
This is another frivolous lawsuit which wastes the time and money of judges and court system.
