Does anyone shower or bath with their stoma bag off?
If so, do you use any body wash etc to clean up with, and, if you do, how do you get the new bag to stick for more than a few hours? If you don't, how do you get any soiling off your skin if the bag that you've taken off has leaked?
Having a close relative who had a bag for a while I know they used to bath/shower wearing it you can get a cap that you can fit for about an hour if you want to remove bag for bathing etc.
Avoid using any moisturising products, shower gels or soaps as it will effect how well it is able to stick to skin, I should think creams also you should be careful with for this reason. Try using a mild antibacterial soap There are other care products special sprays and extra adhesive pads to add more support and security to the wearability time of the pads, and help minimize leakage and different bags.
