what do i connect first from my dj mixer? I have a rack system w/ equalizer,compressor,amp,crossover,maximizer
how do i connect in the right order?
Rays got most of it. Just remember the last item to be connected should always be the amp, and generally the amp would be getting input from the compressor.
So it should be:
mixer
EQs
Crossover
Compressor
Amp.
Just remember when powering up, the last one to be switched on is the amp, but when powering down, switch the amp off first! Turning equipment on and off sends huge spikes into the system!
