Rhythmtech Pro Tambourine With Promount
$39.99
This Rhythm Tech percussion package includes the Pro Tambourine coupled with the appropriate ProMount. The Pro represents a major advancement in the art and science of percussion, and is destined to become the new professional standard for sound, feel and performance. This new model features advanced synthetic materials and computer-assisted design and manufacturing methods to create a completely redesigned more ergonomic handle, more efficient jingle placement, improved balance, as well as a resilient over-molded GLS playing edge that feels incredible. In high volume situations, Rhythm Tech's upgraded stainless steel jingles are a quantum leap forward that will take you to a whole new level. Overall, the new instrument has a lighter, more responsive and comfortable feel with a sound that can be described as "turbo-charged." The Pro comes in its own protective molded gig case. Rhythm Tech designed and patented the original Rhythm Tech Tambourine back in 1980. A universally acclaimed revolution that permanently changed the way the instrument would look and feel, it has remained the standard for both professional percussionists and musicians of every level for over 25 years. As good as it is, Rhythm Tech always thought it could feel and sound even better. The only thing holding the company back was the available technology of the times. Now after 25 years, the technical possibilities have caught up with Rhythm Tech's vision. Rhythm Tech redesigned the handle, and changed the jingle layout and the balance point. Rhythm Tech gave it a unique cushioned over-molded GLS playing edge, and added more than 15 other design innovations to create the new Rhythm Tech Pro Tambourine. ProMount The ProMount is designed exclusively to mount the Rhythm Tech Pro Tambourine and will not fit either the original Rhythm Tech Tambourine or any other brand. The mount will fit onto Rhythm Tech's DSM2 or DSM quad mount, (or any other mount that attaches to a percussion instrument stand and accepts a standard 3/8" rod). It enables the Pro Tambourine to slip on and off so that it can instantly be converted to a mounted instrument.1 Pro Tambourine 1 ProMount New Handle and jingle layout New stainless steel jingles are brighter and louder Comes in its own molded gig case

The PRO 750 comes in the safe PRO hardcase, including one straight and one coiled cord, and a spare pair of velvet earpads which are easy to change due to the speed-switch technology.ULE-technology & PRO designPRO headphones have Ultra Low Emission (ULE) technology with significant benefits for professional users. PRO headphones also have a unique design; the PRO appearance not only distinguishes the professional line but also allows a higher degree of transparency in combination with the spatial sense and understanding, due to more ear anatomy area.To understand what ULE-technology does, you need to know that most headphone drivers produce low-frequency magnetic fields as they convert an electric signal into an acoustical signal that you hear as music. In response, Ultrasone developed a special MU Metal shielding (ULE-technology) to reduce the radiation by up to 98% compared to current headphones. The ULE-technology has stood the test of international review and is recommended by technical surveillance organizations. Ultrasone originally developed the ULE-technology for professionals as they spend half of their lives in headphones. But due to grand requests the ULE-technology has now been integrated in other Ultrasone headphone lines.S-Logic Natural Surround SoundThrough the S-Logic Natural Surround Sound the usual headphone sound will be moved out of the head into the room around you. The sound is no longer locked in, but appears broad and detached. Directions and distances can be heard and perceived--it's just like being in a live concert. For this new technology, additional equipment is not required. Take a pair of Ultrasone headphones plus your sound device and you will be ready for the 3-dimensional sound enjoyment.Safer hearingS-Logic does not only create a Natural Surround Sound. S-Logic allows, at the same time, a reduction of sound pressure levels by up to 40% (3-4 dB) for the same loudness sensation. This may reduce the risk of hearing damage while ensuring hours of fatigue-free listening. However, Ultrasone generally advises not to listen to music at high volumes to prevent hearing damage.

What are some cheap yet great sounding speakers I can get for DJing?
I am a mobile DJ on a budget and would like to know what are some inexpensive speakers I could get for my setup that still gives out deep bass and great sound. My main gigs are small clubs/bars and weddings. I was looking at the Technical Pro or Behringer brands which seem to be in my price range which is around $500 maybe $600 Can someone please help me with this??
Your budget seems a little more realistic than a lot of cats looking in to buying a sound system. For 5-600 bucks, you can do something ok.
(I'm assuming you have a decent power amp. If you don't, please re-ask this question, and I think I can still help you.)
I have never used the brands you mention, although neither has the greatest reputation. I play much the same gigs as you do, so I am very sure about what you will want.
Personally, I have been using this VocoPro 12" powered (built-in amplifier) subwoofer made for Karaoke to get me major floor-shaking bass at bars and the like. It was only 200-something bucks, and I recommend something like it as the core of your system. You will rock that way. Here is the link to where I bought mine. Good folks, seriously recommend: http://www.acekaraoke.com/vocsubpowsub1.html
If that is the centerpiece of your system, you really don't need much of a woofer on your mains. And since you only need a little woofer, the boxes will be smaller. And since the boxes and woofers are smaller, they will cost a lot less. Personally, I use big 15" Yamahas as mains because I bought them before the subwoofer, thinking they could handle the bass for me. Unfortunately, they couldn't, so I bought the VocoPro 12" sub, and it fixed me up.
For your mains, I'd go for an 8 or 10 inch. Or maybe even a Karaoke main. they sound pretty darn good.
Here are some suggestions for mains to use with the VocoPro 12" subwoofer:
12" Peavey's, will serve great, plus Peavey 12's will look respectable on stands. $370 pair at http://www.sixstardj.com/pepr12en.html
10" Peavey's, will sound just as good as 12s when used with sub, but a little smaller. $300 pair at http://www.sixstardj.com/pepr10en.html
(Please do not buy Peaveys without the subwoofer. Cheap Peavey woofers are weak. Peavey Black Widows are great, but expensive.)
If you do not have a power amp, one choice as a main to use with the subwoofer is this 10" Gemini, with built-in amplifier. $400 pair at http://www.sixstardj.com/gegxac10lo.html
One little warning: Watch out for things that "sound like" good deals, and don't jump at speakers just because they "look good". A lot of 15" systems will look better that mine, but I'm recommending gear that I know will do the job for you. In anything you buy, it should play down to 30hz or lower, but the real test is that it should sound good in the rooms you play. The systems I recommended will be versatile to rock many rooms the sizes you speak of.
Finally, one suggestion that people will laugh at is Radio Shack 15" PA speakers. They cost like $150 a pair, and I had seriously good luck with old school Realistics back in '91! They have surprisingly good bass response, too. If the sub + mains idea doesn't work for you, this may.
Good Luck!
