I just want a solid, flat wood exterior door.
Go to an actual lumber yard. I wanted the same thing and bought a solid slab door. Only holes in it were for the handle and locks, plus a peephole. These were drilled by the carpenter I hired.

Flying Saucer/Silent Spinner for Syrian Hamster?
I have a large Syrian male, atleast 4-6 inches long, and he NEVER runs on his wheel, which is a standard one that came with one of those pre-built wire cages, which is only 5 3/4 inch long!! That is probably why he never runs on it right? It is way too small? So I have the money saved after a week of this garbage wheel, and I was wondering if that flying saucer wheel is practical or not? I do not think it is very practical, and takes up a lot of space, so I don't really intend on getting that anyways. I plan on getting the silent spinner, I am guessing I have to get the LARGE 12 inch one correct? And is a wodent wheel better then the silent spinner? Or what? Answers asap please, I am trying to know before I go to PetCo which closes early today (Sunday). Thanks in advance!!

It took up too much space!!! And i only got the medium one!! ( we had a large cage >_>)
It was never used so i had to take it out. My hammie was scared of that thing !! (it is a teddy bear)
So we had to throw it away..
So just buy the WHEELS that have no WIRES on them.... (they could chop off their lil feet =()
and it woulld be a win win ^w^

isopropenyl (rubbing alchohol) as a pestacide?
I keep a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol in it at all times for various reasons. Ease of use when applying to road rash, cuts etc. Sometimes i just need to sterilize something fast.
In any case, recently a roach scurried across my table, not thinking i sprayed it with the rubbing alcohol few times, it stopped for a moment then ran around frantically until it died a few feet from from where i sprayed it.
Has anyone else tried this? are there any other common household chemicals that could be as effective? will the fumes from using a lot of alcohol to kill a lot of bugs hurt me?
Uses for Rubbing Alcohol
