How do I set my 3rd HDD?
If I install another 16 head ATA/IDE Hard disk drive to my PC system it will make it the 3rd HDD for the above mentioned PC.
I will need to install it into IDE slot 2 but do i set this 3rd HDD jumpers to 'device 1 slave' or 'cable select' or 'forcing dev 1 present'?

Because it is not the boot drive, it doesn't matter if it is Master or Slave. The only conflict can be if it has the same setting as the CD Drive on the IDE chain. (I assume the CD drive is also on that bus.)
If the CD is on the same IDE bus, set the Hard Drive to Master and the CD to Slave.
If there are no other drives on the IDE bus, then the jumper setting does not matter.
If you set it up correctly, it will show up in the BIOS before you boot up.
